Our CSA Programs

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a cooperative farming agreement between consumers and farmers, sharing the inherent risks of working with mother nature and exchanging seasonal produce for up front payment to help buy the necessary supplies and pay the farmers for work done all year round. Especially in our region of Montana, each year can bring new weather challenges: Frosts come any month of the year, and it can snow, rain, and hail as Mother Nature sees fit!

By taking part in our CSA, you are sharing in our seasons and in our bounty. To help ensure that our season is bountiful, we are constructing 2 greenhouses and use row cover for season extension, use varieties that are well adapted for our short season, variable climate, plant a wide variety of crops, and have the experience to back it up! Each of our 20 weekly summer and 4 weekly winter boxes has a newsletter with recipes, will generously feed a family of four, and includes a complementary selection of produce including salad greens, cooking greens, an herb, an allium, root crops, and seasonal vegetables.
